Mad Mike confirmed for WTAC 2023

September 1 -2

World Time Attack Challenge have confirmed international drift icon, Mad Mike Whiddett is bringing his high-power, high-octane antics to Sydney Motorsport Park this September!

We are proud to announce the Red Bull-backed drifter will be entered in the Garrett International Drifting Cup in his insane RADBUL MX5!

One of Mike's favourite competition cars, the RADBUL sports an ear-shattering peripheral-ported 20B rotary that delivers all the power to kill all tyres, all the time. This car has stunned audiences from Mike's home track, Hampton Downs, to the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed and is guaranteed to put on an exhilarating performance as he battles it out with the top competition in Sydney.

Mike's last appearance at WTAC was in 2018, where he wowed the drift crowds into the evening with big smoke, big revs and huge angle. For those that know, Mike does not hold back – he will be pushing the limits of his car to ride the doors of anyone he is matched with – fellow competitors beware!

Mike has previously topped the tables at NZ Drift for three seasons and has also taken out the top step at Formula Drift Japan, as one of the most recognised names and faces in the sport, there is no doubt a few of the younger drivers will be stoked to drive alongside their idol.

Mad Mike joins Matt Hall at WTAC as part our Red Bull athlete line-up at WTAC 2023. Stay tuned as we have more to announce from the energy drink brand!
